We receive many e-mail questions with regards to the VCD that we sell at our website. Therefore, below are some of the most Frequent Asked Questions that we receive and the answers to that questions.

1. What is VCD?
VCD is based on the Compact Disc (CD) format and stores video digital images on a 5 inches optical disc, hence the name Video Compact Disc (VCD). VCD can hold about 680 megabytes data and can only play about 70 minutes of movie time. Therefore, one full length feature movie usually needs two VCD to hold. The VCD that we sell are in the VCD 2.0 format. This is also the usual standard format for VCD.

2. Can VCD be played on computer?
Yes, VCD can be played on computer by using your CD-Rom. You will also need to have MPEG player software to play the VCD. The most popular is XING MPEG player. You can also go to http://www.cyberlink.com.tw to download the PowerVCD. But now there is also a software program called Jet audio which is also very good.

3.Can DVD players play VCD?
Yes, DVD player should have a feature to play VCD.

4.What is the language of the Vcd and does it have any substitles?
All of our Vcd movies are in English and mostly are without any subtitles.

5.What is the Packing of the Vcd when you send it?
The Vcd is send to you in plastic protective sheet bag with the front and back covers of the movie. The cover can be put into a casing. If you need plastic casings for the Vcd, you can purchase them separately.

6. What shall we do if the VCD that we purchased from you are defective when we received them?
We usually check the VCD before we shipped them to customers. However, should the VCD that was sent to you are defective, just send an e-mail back to us stating your delivery order number and the name of the movie. We will send you  a replacement immediately. However, you are required to send back to us the defective VCD.

7. What shall I do if the quality of the VCD are not of very good quality in terms of sound and picture?
We do occasionally receive from our suppliers poor copies of VCD movies. If this happens to you, just send us an e-mail stating you delivery order number and name of the movie. We will send you a replacement as soon as our suppliers sent us a better quality copies of VCD. There is no need to send back the poor quality VCD back to us.

8. How do i order ? What sort of payment method being used ?
We receive  payment using Money Order, Cashier Order and Telegraphic Transfers, just e-mail us your order and we will e-mail you the payment details or address.
 

• Cash - Please wrap the money in dark/magazine paper. Better still, buy a greeting-card, slip the money in between the card. It's risky,but 99% of the cash-order we received intact. If possible, don't send via registered-post or any form of priority-mail thing.. YOUR LOCAL POSTMAN WILL OPEN the envelope because they knew something important is going out of the country. One more thing, please don't send fake or torn money. And also,please make sure the cash is w/o any writings/scribble on it. we can't use them.

• International Money.Order or Banker's Chq - Please write for more details.We can take only International Money Order drawn from banks. Value of  order must be at least US$50+

• Wire-Transfer - please write to us for banking details. Please take note that you have to pay fees to your bank to do this.fees is ranging from US$15 to US$25 per transfer. So, you make the decision. Order of up to US$100 is worth while.

 9. What if the free VCD that I receive are defective and/or are poor quality?
We do not discriminate between free VCD and the VCD that you purchased. All VCD that you receive from us receive the same warranty as per no. 4 & 5.

10. How long does it take before I can receive the VCD?
Delivery period is usually between 10 – 14 working days depending on your area. However if you make the purchase during the weekend, your shipment will only be delivered on the following monday. If after 14 working days, you still does not receive your order, just e-mail to us and we will track the delivery. If it is lost, we will send a replacement  immediately. However, should you required the Vcd to be sent to you via express mail, please contact us.

11. Do you ships package to everywhere?
Yes, the store ships to everywhere  around the world except for middle-east
and some countries in Europe(former Russia).

12. Do you accept C.O.D?
No, the store can't do COD.
